NBA FanDuel Lineups December 20th

Welcome Back Everyone! Tonights main slate on FanDuel has a total of 11 game and the first match-ups are set to tip off at 7:30 P.M. Eastern Time. This article will break down all of our favorite picks for tonights slate; As well as give projected floors and ceilings for each pick. High Cost PG Picks:

Russell Westbrook – FD: ($11,400)

Westbrook had a monster outing two nights ago against the Nuggets where he racked up 38 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals, and 1 block in 36 minutes of action. He shot 16-28 from the floor which turns into a solid 57%. He was one of the main reasons The Thunder were able to come away with a victory by 1 point. Tonight he will be going up against the Utah Jazz and earlier in the season when these two teams met, Westbrook put up 34 points, 14 assists, 12 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal in 38 minutes of action. Look for him to have a floor of 45 with a ceiling of 58 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 51.3)

Chris paul – FD: ($10,200)

Chris Paul racked up his first triple-double of the season two nights ago vs. The Utah Jazz. In that game, Paul mustered up 18 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal in 34 minutes of action. The Rockets are still undefeated on the season with Paul in the lineup which tells us how valuable he is to this team. Tonight he will be taking on the Lakers and earlier in the season when these two teams matched up, Paul recorded 35 fantasy points on FanDuel. In tonights re-match, I expect him to have a floor of 38 with a ceiling of 52 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 44)

Damian Lillard – FD: ($8,800)

Lillard has been on a role over his past two outings where he has recorded a combined 35 points, 24 assists, 15 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal in 74 minutes of action. Tonight he has a great match-up against a injured Spurs team that should allow for Lillard to excel on the stat-sheet. Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker are resting for tonights match-up which should allow for The TrailBlazers to be all-the-more competitive tonight. Look for Lillard to have a floor of 35 with a ceiling of 48 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 42.6)

 

High Value PG Picks:

Dennis Schroder – FD: ($7,800)

Schroder is one of my favorite plays on FanDuel tonight because of where he is priced. He is one of the main scoring options on the Hawks which makes it difficult for him to pour it on at times. However, recently teammate Kent Bazemore has been a lot more aggressive and has shown he is more than capable of being a weapon. In other words, other teams can no longer just key in on shutting down Schroder. Tonight he will be taking on the Pacers and you can expect him to have a floor of 32 with a ceiling of 47 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 34.1)

Lonzo Ball – FD: ($7,400)

Lonzo Ball has been very consistent over the past 3 games where he has successfully scored over 13 points in each game. The one category he has been struggling in all season is scoring and if he can prove that this woes are behind him; that would make him a no-brainer moving forward. Especially given the price range he is in right now. Tonight the Lakers will be taking on the Rockets and I think that he will have a floor of 28 with a ceiling of 42 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 32.7)

Darren Collison – FD: ($5,800)

Collison is a great value play on FanDuel tonight if you need a cheaper option at the PG position. He has proven to have a solid floor on any given night that he takes the floor. His upside usually isn’t extremely high though, so for the sake of tonights slate you may want to avoid him and buy lower in other positions. Tonight he will be going up against the Atlanta Hawks and he should have a floor of 24 with a ceiling of 35 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 27.9)

 

Sleeper PG Picks:

Isaiah Canaan – FD: ($4,100)

Canaan is my sleeper pick at the PG position tonight because of how low he is priced, along with how well he has been performing. Phoenix finds themselves in a tough situation because neither of their PG’s are playing well enough to hold down a starting spot. Then Canaan comes along and plays just two games while coming off the bench and already looks like a threat to replace Tyler Ullis. In Canaan’s two games for the Suns, he has racked up 32 points, 9 rebounds, 13 assists, and 3 steals in 52 minuets of action. This is all while coming off the bench. Tonight the Suns will be going up against the Clippers and you can expect Isaiah to have a floor of 18 with a ceiling of 30 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 22.2)

 

 

High Cost SG Picks:

James Harden – FD: ($11,000)

Harden puts us in a tough situation tonight because of how expensive he is compared to Victor Oladipo who is directly below him. I do not think it is necessary to buy up at this position twice tonight. Harden has recorded 40-49 fantasy points on FanDuel in each of his last 4 outings. Oladipo has been right there behind him, yet his price is much lower. The Rockets are going t be taking on the Lakers tonight and I think Harden will have a floor of 43 with a ceiling of 55 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 53.5)

Victor Oladipo – FD: ($9,600)

Oladipo went off against the Celtics 2 nights ago where he was able to drop 38 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block, and 1 assist in 35 minutes of action. He has turned into one of the most sought out players in the NBA this year in regards to fantasy basketball. He has recorded 33+ fantasy points on FanDuel in each of his last 11 games which makes him extremely valuable. In that span, he had 6 games where he recorded 49+ fantasy points on FanDuel. What I am trying to get at is Oladipo is a no brainer every time he touches the floor. Tonight he will be taking on the Hawks and he should have a floor of 40 with a ceiling of 55 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 42.7)

 

High Value SG Picks:

Tyreke Evans – FD: ($7,500)

Evans has been great for the Grizzlies and in his most recent outing that took place 4 nights ago, he racked up 25 points, 5 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal in 38 minutes of action. Tonight the Grizzlies are going up against the Warriors who are still without starting PG Steph Curry due to injury. That alone should allow for this game to become a lot more competitive. With that being said, look for Tyreke to have a floor 28 with a ceiling of 42 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 32.5)

CJ McCollum – FD: ($7,000)

CJ McCollum is another solid play at the SG position for tonights slate because of his price on FanDuel. He has scored at least 20 points in each of his last 6 games. However, scoring is pretty much the only thing that McCollum is doing this season. His assist and rebounding numbers have been very poor as of recent. Nevertheless, his ability to score the ball is enough to off-set the lack of counting stats. Taking all this into consideration, look for CJ to have a floor of 30 with a ceiling of 42 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 32.2)

Kent Bazemore – FD: ($6,300)

Bazemore went off in Atlanta’s game two nights ago against the Heat where he was able to muster up 16 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals, and 2 blocks in 32 minutes of action.  This yielded him 53.5 fantasy points on FanDuel which is the highest score he has recorded all season. It keeps getting better though, in 3 out of his last 4 games he has racked up at least 40+ fantasy points on FanDuel. The Hawks are in need of someone to step up on the offensive end and it looks like Bazemore is beginning to get really comfortable. Tonight he will  be taking on the Pacers and I think that he will have a floor of 28 with a ceiling of 42 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 29.1)

 

Sleeper SG Picks:

Justin Holiday – FD: ($5,100)

Holiday is my sleeper pick at the SG position for tonights main slate on FanDuel because of how well he has been playing; combined with his cheap price on FanDuel tonight. Holiday is the kind of player that can really pour it on in a hurry when he gets hot. In his most recent game, he racked up 20 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 1 steal in 37 minutes of action. Tonight he will be playing against the Orlando Magic an I think that he will have a floor of 25 with a ceiling of 40 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 26.9)

High Cost SF Picks:

Kevin Durant – FD: ($11,900)

Kevin Durant will remain an absolute no brainer on FanDuel with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green out of the lineup. Below this paragraph is a snap-shot of Durant’s performances on Fanduel over the past 5 games without Stephen Curry. as you can see, it would be extremely wise to figure out a way to squeeze him into your lineup. Cause if you don’t pick him and he drops 65 fantasy points on FanDuel; then you simply won’t be able to compete in large tournament lobbies. Tonight the Warriors are taking on the Grizzlies and you can expect Durant to have a floor of 55 with a ceiling of 67 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 48.4)

Jimmy Butler – FD: ($9,400)

Butler exploded in the Timberwolves last game that took place two nights ago against the Trail Blazers. In that outing, Butler was able to rack up 37 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals in 35 minutes of action. On a realistic level, I would buy on on Durant tonight because he is more of a sure thing. However depending on what types of FanDuel lobbies you are playing, Butler might end up being a solid alternative tonight. Look for him to have a floor of 36 with a ceiling of 50 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 38.8)

 

High Value SF Picks:

TJ Warren – FD: ($7,600)

TJ Warren is a great value play at the SF position for tonights slate for many reasons. One being his price-tag is at a solid level; secondly because Devin Booker is still injured which allows Warren a lot more freedom on the offensive end. In his most recent outing, Warren racked up 19 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 block, and 1 assist in 32 minutes of action. Tonight he will be taking on the Clippers and I think that he will have a floor of 28 with a ceiling of 43 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 30.4)

Brandon Ingram – FD: ($7,200)

Ingram had a big game against he Warriors two nights ago where he was able to rack up 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals in 39 minutes of action. This yielded him  He has a reasonable price tag on FanDuel tonight which makes him a great value play. Tonight the Lakers are going up against the Rockets and you can expect Ingram to have a floor of 30 with a ceiling of 43 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG =30.4)

Jonathon Simmons – FD: ($6,600)

Jonathon Simmons has stepped it up big time in the wake of the injury bug hitting the Magic. In each of his last 4 games, Simmons has racked up at least 32 fantasy points on Fanduel. With Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier set to miss tonights game, look for Simmons to provide an offensive spark once again in tonights game. I think that he will have a floor of 30 with a ceiling of 40 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight against the Bulls. (FPPG = 23.8)

 

Sleeper SF Picks:

Mario Hezonja – FD: ($4,800)

Mario Hezonja is my sleeper pick at the SF position for tonights main slate on FanDuel. Hezonja should be in for 30+ minutes of action tonight and the Magic are playing against the Bulls. The Bulls run three different PF’s in their system and they all see 20+ minutes each game. This means Mario should have ample opportunity to rack up another solid stat-sheet tonight. In hist most recent game, he racked up 28 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 assists in 31 minutes of action. With Aaron Gordon out tonight, Mario should have a floor of 25 with a ceiling of 40 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 10.2)

*Honorable Mention SF Pick*

Omri Casspi – FD: ($4,600)

Give Casspi a look tonight only if Draymond Green is held out once again with a shoulder injury.

 

High Cost PF Picks:

LaMarcus Aldridge – FD: ($7,900)

LaMarcus Aldridge is a great play on FanDuel tonight due to the Spurs being without starters Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker. He should have a boost in his production seeing as he is the biggest weapon the Spurs have going into tonights tilt. He will be taking on the Portland Trail Blazers and you can expect him to have a floor of 34 with a ceiling of 45 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 38.7)

 

High Value PF Picks:

Zac Randolph – FD: ($6,800)

Randolph has been stellar for the Kings in the month of December. In fact, he has successfully recorded at least 32 points on FanDuel in 7 out of his 8 appearances this month. In his most recent outing, Randolph racked up 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 block in 28 minutes of action. Tonight he will look to take advantage of The Brooklyn Nets lack of talent. Look for him to have a floor of 30 with a ceiling of 43 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 28.6)

 

Jayson Tatum – FD: ($5,600)

Jayson Tatum looked magnificent in the Celtics last game that took place two nights ago against the Pacers. In that outing he racked up 16 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal in 30 minutes of action. The Celtics are going to be without Marcus Morris for the a few games so Tatum will continue to see a healthy amount of minutes moving forward. Tonight The Celtics are taking on The Heat and you can expect Tatum to have a floor of 27 with a ceiling of 40 fantasy points on FanDuel. (FPPG = 26.8)

 

Sleeper PF Picks:

Trey Lyles – FD: ($4,800)

Trey Lyles has been stepping it up big time in the absence of Paul Millsap, who suffered a wrist injury that has kept him sidelined for 14 games. Given how low Trey’s price tag is on FanDuel, he makes for a sneaky DFS play tonight. In his last outing, he was able to rack up 15 points, 9 rebounds, and 1 assist in 25 minutes of action. The game before that, he racked up 19 points, rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in 29 minutes of action. If he can have a similar performance tonight, he will make for one of the better value plays on the slate. Look for Lyles to have a floor of 28 with a ceiling of 40 fantasy points on FanDuel tonight. (FPPG = 15.4)
