-FanDuel Picks For October 10th-

High Cost PG Picks:

Cris Paul – FD: ($7,900)

Chris Paul Is one of my favorite players for the PG position for Monday’s FanDuel slate. Doc Rivers allowed Chris Paul to gather up 27 minutes of action on the court. Paul was ablate put up 7 points to go along with 15 assists, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals. That is a monstrous stat-line. He only attempted 4 total shots so expect to see that increase next game.

Kyrie Irving – FD: ($6,500)

Irving played a total of 19 minutes but was able to get up 13 shots in that short amount of time. He has a lot of volume given how he is very ball oriented when he is on the floor. Even if he only gets 20 minutes next game, he is still a solid PG option.

High Value PG Picks:

Dennis Schroder – FD: ($5,000)

Schroder is one of the young PG’s that has the ability to go off on any given night he just struggles with consistency. However, he is going to be Atlanta’s new starting PG so expect him to see plenty of minutes on Wednesday. He makes for a ice combination if you use him and someone like Irving or Paul.

Trey Burke – FD: ($4,000)

Try Burke has to prove to his new team that he deserves a spot in the starting lineup. He got the start last game and played for a total of 21 minutes and scored 7 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. He will have plenty of opportunities for this team before the preseason starts. So he makes for a solid value play at the PG position.

Sleeper PG Picks:

Kris Dunn – FD: ($4,000)

The rookie Kris Dunn came off the bench in this game for the Timberwolves but still did receive a starters share of minutes. He played 24 minutes of action and put up 6 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. The T-Wolves only used 5 bench players in there last game, that bodes well for the rookie Kris Dunn’s playing time going forward in the preseason.

Raymond Felton – FD: ($4,300)

Raymond Felton got the start and looked extremely impressive for the Los Angeles Clippers back on the 5th. He got the start and played a whopping 36 minutes of action. Doc Rivers might even start Felton at the small forward position this season. Don’t expect him to get 36 minutes next game, but 25 – 30 is very reasonable.

High Cost SG Picks:

Rodney Hood – FD: ($5,300)

Rodney Hood is my favorite play at the SG position tonight. Not because he is the highest priced, but because of what he brings to the table as a fantasy player. He is very active on the defensive end and knows how score. He should get around 18 minutes in Mondays contest.

Kentavious Caldwell Pope – FD: ($4,800)

He might have had a quiet showing in the first preseason game, however I think Monday he will flip the script. Last season he was thrown into a bigger role towards the end of the season and he should remain involved in this offense. Especially with Reggie Jackson still sidelined due to a knee injury. Pope will figure to play about 20 minutes in Monday nights game.

High Value SG Picks:

Zach Lavine – FD: ($4,500)

Lavine had a mediocore first outing back on the 8th in Minnesota’s first preseason game. He did get the starting nod in the game and he played 23 minutes in which he was able to put up 9 points, 2 rebonds, 2 blocks, 1 assists, and 1 steal. I like him as a value guy with a solid chance too have a big night, especially because it is a preseason game.

Jordan McRae – FD: ($4,000)

Jordan McRae has been spectacular thus far in the preseason for the cavaliers. Last game he had a 20 point game performance to go along with 5 rebonds and 4 assists. He got 29 minutes off the bench for Cleveland. This is a guy who is a must play going forward in the preseason.

Sleeper SG Picks:

Jeremy Lamb – FD: ($4,000)

Jeremy Lamb is someone who was completely off my radar until I watched him play. He is putting up a great fight so far in this preseason to try and carve out a role on this not so deep Charlotte roster. I really like playing guys who have something to prove and Lamb is a perfect example. It also does help that in his last preseason game he had 16 points to go along with 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 blocked shot.

High Cost SF Picks:

LeBron James – FD: ($8,500)

LeBron James ha been designated with limited minutes throughout the preseason for obvious reasons. So going forward, I would be cautious when using him. However, as we all know, LeBron is capable of putting up huge numbers even if he only plays 15 minutes.

Kawhi Leonard – FD: ($7,600)

Kawhi Leonard is a no-brianer in my opinion based on the fact that he is without a doubt the go to guy on the Spurs. He may have only played 20 minutes, however, he still put up 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He will most likely see 20 – 25 mints in his next game.

High Value SF Picks:

Andrew Wiggins – FD: ($5,400)

Andrew Wiggins put on quite the offensive show yesterday in the T-Wolves first preseason game in which he score 19 points – to go along with 2 rebonds and 1 block. He got to play 28 total minutes and Minnesota only opted to use 5 bench players. Perhaps all the starters minutes will remain the same for the Timberwolves. If that is the case, Wiggins all day.

Michael Kid Gilchrist – FD: ($4,900)

Gilchrist had himself a great second preseason game yesterday in which he scored 11 points to go along with – 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block, and 1 assist. He received a solid 26 minutes as a starter and I think he will continue to see that amount of time. He also shot 3 – 11 from the field in his last game, there is a lot of potential for Gilchrist.

Sleeper SF Picks:

Kelly Oubre Jr. – FD: ($4,000)

Kelly Oubre Jr. has looked extremely impressive coming off of the wizards bench. He was able to accumulate 24 points to go along with 3 assists, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block in 33 minutes of action. Even though this game went into over time, the damage is already done. He impressed everyone and he will get another solid look in the next game.

High Cost PF Picks:

Blake Griffin – FD: ($7,000)

Blake Griffin had himself an explosive game against the Raptors in his last preseason game. He shot 10-13 from the field and even went 2-3 from behind the arc. In his last game he played 26 minutes and was able to put up 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals. He makes for a solid play on Monday night so long as Doc Rivers doesn’t do anything funny with the lineups.

LaMarcus Aldridge – FD: ($6,800)

L.A. had himself a solid game last night against the Hawks in which he scored 14 points – to go along with 6 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block. He will remain a solid option going forward, however, be aware that head coach Gregg Popovich does like to sit his starters in the preseason to keep them fresh. So just keep an eye on his availability. Other than that I think he is a solid option.

High Value PF Picks:

Kristaps Porzingis – FD: ($5,700)

Kristaps Porzingis came back down to earth tonight on the offensive side of things but still had another solid outing. He played for 19 minutes and was able to accumulate 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 block. If he continues to see around the 20 minute mark, I think he is a great play for the potential of him going off. He carries a relatively high floor.

Tobias Harris – FD: ($5,400)

Tobias Harris figures to have a big role once again in Detroit’s offense this year. Last game he put up 15 points to go along with 3 rebonds and 1 assist. Expect him to step it up next game he is to good of a player to have back to back games like that.

Gorgui Dieng – FD: ($5,000)

Dieng is a great DFS play because each night you know he is going to get his rebounds and defensive stats to go along with a decent output of scoring. I think he makes for a solid value pay at the PF position in Monday’s FanDuel slate. He will definitely be low owned as well.

Sleeper PF Picks:

Frank Kaminsky – FD: ($4,700)

Kaminsky might have had a terrible shooting night, but the percentage doesn’t matter at all when playing FanDuel. He was still able to put up 10 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 steal in 34 minutes of action. I really like Kaminsky going forward because of how many minutes he is getting and the fact that he took 17 shot attempts last game.

High Cost C Picks:

I think either Towns or Drummond are the two center you should be choosing from for the FanDuel slate on Monday!

Karl Anthony Towns – FD: ($7,200)

Karl Anthony Towns absolutely stole the show offensively for the T-Wolves in their last preseason game. He put up a double double by scoring 20 points and securing 10 rebounds to go along with 2 blocks and an assist. I really like Karl Anthony Towns for this FanDuel slate as he might see upwards of 25 minutes again in Monday’s game.

Andre Drummond – FD: ($6,400)

Drummond had a spectacular first preseason game in which he put up 17 points and had 21 rebounds in just 24 minutes played. He figures to see right around that amount of minutes for the reminder of the preseason. He is anther center that I really like.

High Value C Picks:

Marcin Gortat – FD: ($5,300)

Grotto looked really nice in his second preseason game of the year in which he put up 17 points to go along with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal. I am interested in rostering Gortat, I just think there is too much potential with the centers there are above him.

Rudy Gobert – FD: ($5,000)

Gobert had a solid game at center in his second preseason outing. He is the only other center that I think I will throw out there in a few lineups for tonight on FanDuel. He put up an impressive 21 points to go along with 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1 assist. He also got 28 minutes of action, that is a HUGE plus.

Sleeper C Picks:

Walter Tavares – FD: ($4,000)

If you are really reaching for a center tonight, Walter Tavares is your guy. It is slim-pickings for Monday nights slate when it comes to cheap centers. Walters last game he was able to put up 15 points to go along with 10 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 blocked shot. I do not think you should reach low at the center position tonight but if you really have to, give Tavares a run.
