-FanDuel Picks-

High Cost Quarterback:

Cam Newton – FD ($9,200)

Newton comes in this week as the most expensive QB on FanDuel. He doesn’t have the best match-up by any means, but he has so many offensive weapons it’s tough for him to fail. Last week against the 49ers Cam completed 24 – 40 passes for 353 yards to go with 4 passing touchdowns. Expect him to have another solid outing against the Vikings in week 3. He may struggle a little in the game but in the end their offense is too good to not score. (FPPG = 26.5)

Aaron Rogers – FD: ($8,900)

Rogers is coming off a very poor performance in a week 2 game against the Vikings in which they lost. He only completed 20 – 36 Passes for 213 yards to go with 1 touchdown & 1 interception. Give the Vikings some respect, they absolutely shut down the Packers running game. Which in turn led to Green Bay’s receivers having a very hard time getting open. In week 3, expect to see Rogers back in form against a shaky Lions defense. He should throe at least 3 touchdowns in this one. (FPPG = 21)

Carson Palmer – FD ($8,200)

Palmer has had a very successful start to the season through the first two games of the season. In just two games, he has already thrown for 575 yards to go along with 5 touchdowns. Sunday brings him a favorable match-up against the weak Buffalo Bills secondary. Expect Carson to come through with yet another big day. (FPPG =21.5)

High Value Quarterbacks:

Marcus Mariota – FD: ($7,700)

Mariota is one of my favorite plays this week hands down. In the off-season Tennessee did a lot of work to improve their offense by adding star running back DeMarco Murray and by acquiring rookie wide receiver Tajae Sharpe. I think Mariota is in for a monster performance and should be heavily considered in all lineups. I think he will throw for at least 3 touchdowns in this one. (FPPG = 17.7)

Ryan Tannehill – FD: ($7,400)

Tannehill in week 2 looked so good at some moments and then there were times he looked completely lost. However, I saw enough good out of him to land him back in my good graces. Personally, I really like his two young talented wide receivers Jarvis Landry & DeVante Parker. However,  what I really like about Tannehill though is the match-up against the horrible Cleveland Browns defense. I think Ryan will find a lot of success in the air in this one. He will most likely throw at least 2 touchdowns and go for over 300 yards in the air. (FPPG =20.1)

-Sleeper Quarterback Picks-

Sam Bradford – FD: ($6,600) – He doesn’t have AP this week, He will be throwing a lot!

High Cost Running Back:

DeMarco Murray – FD: ($7,700)

Murray is another very intriguing option at running back this week. Over the last two weeks he has put up 222 all purpose yards and has recorded two receiving touchdowns. DeMarco’s ability to catch the ball is what makes him so lethal in week 3 against the Raiders. He should be able to find the end zone at least once in this game while eclipsing 100 all purpose yards. (FPPG =19.1)

High Value Running Backs:

Isaiah Crowell – FD: ($6,900)

I normally would avoid the Cleveland Browns running back situation. However, after seeing Isaiah explode in week 2, it made me think otherwise. I know that he had 133 total rushing yards and 1 of his rushes went for 85 yards. Leaving just 48 total yards on his next 17 carries. After taking that into consideration, I realized he is going up against the Dolphins. They have one of the worst run-defenses in the league and on average, give up 128.5 yards on the ground per game. I think it will be safe to ride Crowell for one more week. (FPPG = 18)

Giovani Bernard – FD: ($5,700)

Giovani Bernard is my running back sleeper pick for week 3 strictly because of his match-up. He is the clear receiving half-back in the Cincinnati backfield and that really showed in week 2. He racked up 9 catches on 11 targets for 100 total receiving yards. He may be in store of a similar workload next week against Denver’s defense. (FPPG = 12.1)

High Cost Wide Receiver Picks:

Odell Beckham Junior – FD: ($8,900)

Odell Beckham Junior has struggled so far this season and it isn’t really his fault. The Giants have been very reluctant to throw the long ball down field that OBJ is known for. Nevertheless, he is due for a big game and everyone knows it. This may vey well be the week where OBJ makes a big splash against the porous Redskins defense. He will be heavily involved next week and will probably see upwards of 10 targets. (FPPG =10.9)

Jordy Nelson – FD: ($8,300)

Jordy Nelson is a guy that I really like this week against the Lions. Aaron Rogers has struggled to find Jordy consistently this season, but he hasn’t had the greatest match-ups. Week three the Packers have a home game against one of the weaker defenses in the NFL. When Aaron and Jordy heat up, they tend to drop monstrous numbers. This very well could be a huge week for the dynamic duo. (FPPG = 14)

Kelvin Benjamin – FD: ($7,800)

Kelvin Benjamin, who is coming off an injury from last season, has already turned into one of Cam Newtons favorite targets in just two weeks of action. He already has mustered up 21 targets, 199 yards, and 3 touchdowns on the young season. In week 1 he put up 18.1 fantasy points on FanDuel and in week 2 he put up 26.3 points. He will look to keep his great season going in week 3 against the Viking. (FPPG =22.2)

High Value Wide Receiver Picks:

Jarvis Landry – FD: ($7,000)

Landry is clearly the WR 1 in Miami and he put on a showcase against the Patriots on Sunday in week 2. He finished the game with 10 catches on 13 targets for 137 yards. Next week the Dolphins have a home game against the Cleveland Browns. This is a great match-up to key in on because Landry has a chance to put up a huge stat-line in this one. (FPPG= 13.1)

Stefon Diggs – FD: ($6,400)

Stefon Digs makes for a solid play this week against the Carolina Panthers who gave up 27 points to a sup-par San Francisco 49ers offense. With the almighty Adrian Peterson ruled out for week 3, look for Stefon Diggs to capitalize the most in the wake of his absence. On top of that, he put up 13.7 points on FanDuel in week one and then put up a crazy 28.7 points. He is an extremely low price this week and in my opinion is a no brainer.            (FPPG = 21.2)

Mike Wallace – FD: ($6,500)

Wallace has emerged as a go-to target in the red-zone for Joe Flacco. He already has 3 touchdowns on this very young season to go along with a respectable 132 receiving yards. The Ravens are going up against the Jaguars defense who gave up 4 touchdowns in the air last week. Wallace could be in for a big Sunday. (FPPG =17.9)

Sleeper wide Receiver Picks:

DeVante Parker – FD ($6,200) – Last week had 8 catches for 106 yards / Clear #2 receiver.

High Cost Tight End Picks:

Greg Olsen – FD: ($7,800)

Greg Olsen could be in for another big week because the Panthers have a tougher match-up this week. However, that will just improve Olsen’s volume for week 3. He does come in at a very high price this week, that is the only downfall. (FPPG = 15.8)

Jordan Reed – FD: ($7,500)

Jordan reed is one of my favorite players at the Tight End position for week 3 against the New York Giants. Last season Reed put up 194 yards and  had 14 catches in two games against them last year. He will be heavily used in week 3 due to the pass-heavy Redskins offense. (FPPG = 9.7)

Delanie Walker – FD: ($6,900)

Delanie Walker is another tight end that I really like this week against the Raiders rattled secondary. The Raiders defense have allowed 7 touchdowns through the air already in just the first two games alone. Walker has a good chance to see a lot of targets this week and maybe even score a touchdown or two. Walker is clearly Mariota’s favorite red-zone target. (FPPG = 11.5)

High Value Tight End Pick:

Eric Ebron – FD: ($5,600)

Ebron comes into week 3 with a solid match-up for himself against the Green Bay Packers. In week two, Ebron caught 4 – 7 passes 53 yards but failed to score. However, he is clearly the go-to guy for the Lions in the red-zone. He is one of the cheaper tight ends this weak with a solid match-up on paper, so he may be heavily owned. (FPPG = 10.2)

Dennis Pitta – FD ($5,000)

Pitta comes in as my tight end sleeper pick this week because the Jaguars have given up 6 touchdowns through the air in the first two weeks. On top of that, in week 2, Pitta caught 9–12 passes for 102 yards. He could be in for another massive workload yet again come Sunday. (FPPG = 10.1)
Sleeper Tight end Picks:

Clive Walford – FD ($5,000) – Caught 6–7 passes in week 2 for 50 yards and a touchdown.
